25 y/0 born in NL to an american dad and german/dutch
mother, I grew up in the states, moving back to NL at
the age of 9.

My interest in art was encouraged by my parents, who often took me to art museums and my mom introduced me to collaging through her love for scrapbooking. From there I went onto exploring different mediums including photography, video documentation, curating spaces, oil painting, sculpture, dance and cooking.

After completing a BA in Media Studies at the university of Amsterdam, I moved to Berlin to focus on pursuing more personal creative work independently. Here I began to freelance as a set-designer, working with several directors on various projects including an adult film for XConfessions, commercial for Kora Mikino and experimental short film with friend and director Elena Ní hArgáin. During the quarantine, I edited my first collaborative zine [PUSSY PALACE ZINE] in an effort to reconnect with oneself, through the lens of nature.

As of October 2020, I started an MA in Anthropology at the University of Vienna. Caught up in a whirlwind of the pandemic, I changed course and ended up switching from the MA program to a course on user interface design that I completed in March 2022.

I hope one day to run a cafe + studio that features the work of artists who inspire me, and in turn create a home for other creatives to come together and hone their work. ø
